Well, I'd be the last to know, I guess.
I hope they picked a good section.
My favorite part of that video was electrocuting the host with my original circuit at the end of the piece, the circuit that shorted-out in my desk drawer 44 years ago and started my journey.
That actual circuit is, at the moment, being incorporated into a viewer-participation installation for a show next month in Cincinnati, at the Mockbee, an alternative art venue.
I'm bringing the body-contacts forward so patrons are able to have the circuit, bending's Holy Grail, conduct electricity through their flesh, and thereby play the bent oscillator.
The instrument itself will be viewable behind a curved glass panel, eight body-contacts at its edge. Additionally, large foot plates will allow bare-footed persons to play each other's bodies (stand on plates and touch each other's various bare body parts to create amusing tones and facial expressions) just as we did in the clothing-optional era known as the 1960's.
Should be fun.
There will be bent performances, workshops and related throughout the day. Here's a little more...
