Mike died shorty before the DC5 were inducted into the R&R Hall of Fame. Apparently he had been ill for some time. He was also confined to a wheel chair for the last couple of years of his life because of a fall from a ladder.
I could be wrong but I think somewhere I read that the DC5 appeared on the Ed Sullivan show more than any other group of that era.
