With an estimated $161 million in gross ticket sales, U2 360 was the
number three tour on Pollstar's chart of the top grossing worldwide
concert tours in 2010. Bono Jovi ($201 million) and AC/DC ($177
million) were ranked one and two, respectively. You can download a PDF
listing the complete top 50 from Pollstar's website.

The Pollstar chart covers the 2010 calendar year, including U2's shows
in New Zealand and Australia. Pollstar lists U2 as playing 32 shows in
22 cities and says the band averaged $7.3 million in gross ticket
sales per show. U2 sold a total of 1.6 million tickets at an average
cost of $100.17 per ticket, Pollstar says.
U2 was ranked second in a recent Billboard chart showing the top tours
of the year, but that list used a time period that didn't include U2's
recent shows in Australia and New Zealand.
Also worth noting: Pollstar says worldwide concert ticket sales were
down about 7% compared to 2009, and gross revenue was down about 12%
for the year.
