Music: Re: [u2tour] Rumor: OneRepublic opening in 2011

i think that snow patrol were, by far, the best opening act that U2 has ever
chosen ... i wasn't a huge fan of theirs before i saw them open at foxboro 1 and
2 last year, but, after seeing them rock the house those two nights i was
converted. gary lightbody has great stage presence and anybody who witnessed
his genuine, sincere show of emotion at foxboro 1 could not help but be moved.
the tears that ran down his face when he realized that U2's audience truly knew
and appreciated snow patrol's music was something that i won't ever forget.

and, although i am very up to date on up and coming bands, i have never heard of
oneRepublic ... guess i will be checking them out now, though.

i say bring on the silversun pickups!

Yes we are all entitled to our OWN opinions....here's mine:
SNOW PATROL ROCKS!!!!

I also don't think U2 are trying to get the biggest, baddest bands to open for
them but rather give an up & coming group a shot to play w/ them & promote their
sound......just MY thoughts
