Re: [Classic_Rock_Forever] sabbath

Maybe I have a slightly different version. There's just an option in the menu that says something like 'concert only' in it.

I liked the concert, since it comes from about the exact time that I was just getting into them. Ya, the camera focus's on Alice for most of it, which as you say, isn't too surprising. I would have enjoyed seeing more of the entire group, including Mashbir who is off to stage left from the audience perspective.

The fact that they pulled My Stars out for that tour wins with me. Not sure what the sarcophagus has to do with that, but I still like it ;)

I finally got that Alice Copper vid for Christmas. The version I have, I dont think you can skip past the "promo" videos. You have to sit thru the whole thing and then sit thru them when they show up at various points during the concert.

Its an enjoyable concert, well, bits of two enjoyable concerts I guess. Camera on Alice 99% of the time, but I guess I expected that.

Its sort of funny, how tame a lot of it is by todays standards... back then it was really shocking.

I have a dvd 'Good to See You Again Alice Cooper', where they give you the option to have the concert play without the interruption of a silly bunch of skits the band made for the movie. They are okay to see once, maybe twice, but overall they don't add anything to the concert itself.

My preference is the method that they used for an anniversary edition of Rocky Horror Picture show. At certain points within the movie an icon appears on the screen and if you click a certain button, you are taken to a separate file that plays various other footage of a live performance of the show.
That's similar to other concert videos that have icons pop up that let you access different camera angles while watching the concert.

The Last Supper is a good disc. I'd change the format though, either move the interviews to a separate area, or at the least let me watch/listen to the concert with the option to edit out the interviews.

Not that I don't like hearing them speak, its just not necessary everytime I want the music.

I like solo Ozzy, but I do prefer the latter stuff with Zakk Wyld.

That does have a 'Sharon' feel to it. Although it doesn't sound like any of them are talking to Bill.

I found B Ward to be as interesting as any of the group when I watched the 'Last Supper'. His is a deadpan humour that works will with others.
